Steve Klein truly has his own idea of beauty and a very specific way to realise his vision – the man has style.
No matter whether the pictures show a bloody, dirty room, a brightly light outdoor scene or a woman dressed as superwoman they catch you right away. Arranged and staged – down to the smallest detail – his photographs only allows the viewer to watch and observe the scene that unfolds in front him.

The photos invite to take a longer, deeper look at the models, their bodies and the surrounding scenes, but don’t allow you to come too close. You will always be a voyeur, not invited to join the action. Klein combines art and commercial photography, intimacy and distance in such a unique style, that makes him one of the most successful and polarizing (fashion) photographers.
